Join us for an intimate collector home visit and conversation at sunset with the Agili-Selk family on Normandy Island.

Living with art made by people who you respect and connect with hits different. Just ask collectors and supporters of Caribbean contemporary art, Vanessa Selk and Samir Agili, who have built a thoughtful collection grounded in long-term relationships with artists and a shared interest in transatlantic, historical, and ecological narratives.

Selk, an independent curator, art advisor, and founding artistic director of Tout-Monde Art Foundation and its curated marketplace, TM ArtHouse, began collecting early in her career. Agili, an entrepreneur in mobile gaming, developed his eye gradually through their shared collecting journey. Since making their home in Miami, they have approached collecting with a particular focus on supporting Caribbean artists, both a political and aesthetic practice. Notably, you’ll find works by Nari Ward, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Anina Major, April Bey, Marielle Plaisir, Edouard Duval-Carrié (Commissioner Season Seven), Morel Doucet (Commissioner Season Three), Stephen Arboite (Commissioner Season Eight), Jessica Gispert, Patricia Encarnación, and many others.
