InterCommissioner is a new program that invites people from anywhere to take part in pop-up commissions and art travel with artists we believe in.

Buy into our pool as a one-time contributor to receive a limited-edition or original work, and participate in the digital unboxing or a curated trip to the artist’s city.

Commissions will take place throughout the year, and you don’t need to be a member to get involved. We’ll tell you everything you need to know upfront, including the edition size, deadlines, costs, and payment plan options. Most importantly, we’ll tell you why we’re getting behind the artist and what becomes possible when we move together.

Through 2028, expect interCommissioner projects in Miami, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Charlotte, made possible with support from Knight Foundation.

You can also look forward to pop-up initiatives in additional cities around timely topics, across disciplines, and with key partners. An expansion of our signature membership program, which brings locals together to support artists in Miami, interCommissioner’s model celebrates the transterritorial nature of community while also acknowledging that artists need support both at home and beyond.

We imagine a future for the arts that belongs not to the privileged few, but to the artists and communities that support them.
