We’re thrilled that Diana Eusebio is our first commissioned artist of 2026!
Over the past decade, we’ve followed Eusebio’s remarkable journey—from 2016 YoungArts Award Winner and 2024 Jorge M. Pérez Award honoree, to participating in residencies with Artists in Residence in Everglades; Oolite Arts and Bakehouse Art Complex in Miami; and more recently, at the Textile Arts Center in New York. Her interdisciplinary practice is deeply informed by research and community, which shines through in her beloved dye-making workshops with Pérez Art Museum Miami and last season’s member orientation—we love our indigo totes!
Now, as Eusebio presents Field of Dreams, her first-ever solo museum exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami (MOCA), we’re beyond excited to celebrate this important milestone with a new commission for our member community.
Diana Eusebio: Field of Dreams is the South Florida-based artist’s reimagining of what it means to build and preserve a sense of home. The exhibition features hand-dyed fabrics and digital works that pay tribute to those places the artist calls home: the Dominican Republic, Peru, and Miami, Florida. Field of Dreams reminds us of ancestral traditions and celebrates nature and wisdom passed down through generations.
Join us in a world of speculative history, ancestral technology, and contemporary art-making. In this Season Eight, we’re building the futures we want to see and thinking more deeply about who belongs in the museum and why.
