In her wisdom, the Season Five commissioned artist reminded us that the sublime of the natural world is all around us—if only we care and slow down enough to take notice.

Now, BirdHouse—Oka Doner’s latest public art sculpture—is free and open for everyone to visit at Bayshore Park in Miami Beach. Located at Fairgreen Hill near the Banyan Tree, this work reminds us of the gentle words she shared during our visit:

Deepest gratitude to the Doners and all who traveled near and far to participate in our New York program, this year presented in collaboration with Common Things—the story-forward boutique in Manhattan’s East Village helmed by architect and designer Komal Kehar.
