Titled In Minor Keys, this edition has been poetically shaped by the late visionary curator Koyo Kouoh, delving into “notions like enchantment, seeding, commoning, and generative practices that invite collectivities to emerge organically.”

We’re especially excited to support Edouard Duval Carrié, Season Seven commissioned artist, and Kennedy Yanko—with whom we interrogated consensus-making last November at NSU Art Museum—as both are Miami-based and part of the remarkable group of established and emerging exhibiting artists.

Our insider guide for this trip is celebrated curator and writer Claire Breukel. Sharing time between South Africa and the United States, she is currently assisting the team selected by Kouoh to bring the Biennale to life. Breukel is also the co-curator of Crossing the Bridge—Oolite Arts’ alumni exhibition on view through May in Miami Beach.
